Responsible for leading the coordination and completion of projects. Oversees all aspects of projects for federal contract located in Alexandria, Virginia.   Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 


  • Formulate and define strategy, business processes, and systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding activities
  • Lead complex business analysis projects
  • Recommend and apply strategic thinking, process improvement, and re-engineering methodologies and principles
  • Conduct process improvement projects by proposing, completing, and analyzing business models, data models, and hybrid enterprise models
  • Identify best practices and Document and assess performance measurements
  • Identify business and technology solutions to streamline processes
  • Provide direction and strategic vision to business analysis framework improvement programs by assessing and providing recommendations to all business analysis related disciplines
  • Conduct the elicitation and management of business and systems level requirements for projects
  • Employ industry standard tools to manage and test requirements, CM, and modeling to support requirements management and/or business modeling activities
  • Conduct knowledge transfer of strategic plans, scope, requirements, and other analysis information to program and project teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions
  • Validate that solutions delivered meet business needs for programs and projects



  • Understanding of business process analysis, requirements management, business modeling, and business architecture practices and principles
  • Demonstrated mastery applying business analysis skills to moderately complex projects
  • Scoping, requirements elicitation, business modeling, requirements management, and feasibility and cost benefit analysis
  • Previous experience working in an Agile Environment
  • Previous experience working on the JIRA Suite
  • Ability to mature business analysis disciplines as a whole.
  • Strong communication skills, including facilitation, interview, formal document writing and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft SharePoint
  • Familiarity with RUP, Agile, Scrum, CBAP and/or Test certifications, BABOK, Agile Extension, TFS, ReqPro, UML, BPMN, Value Stream Mapping
  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Position requires background investigation and CBP Clearance
  • Minimum 8 years direct experience supporting a federal contract.  
  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree in related field required.
