The Preparedness Planning, Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery Team is responsible for develop CISO’s capability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from any event that disrupts, or threatens to disrupt, normal operations. Responsibilities include:

  • Help coordinate the review, maintenance and testing of product and department Business Continuity Plans, working with business owners to ensure these plans remain valid and fit for purpose.
  • Assist in design and development individual exercises, identify and develop exercise objectives, design the scenario, create documentation, plan exercise conduct and evaluation, and coordinate logistics.
  • Partner in regular functional assessments with teams and business owners to quantify Business Continuity requirements and identify required Business Continuity Plans enhancements.
  • Work across all areas to evaluate, recommend, develop and deliver technical training for CISO Continuity Plans (Hurricane, Cyber, Fire, Flood, etc…)
  • Maintains document repositories and continuity sites to enhance awareness of Business Continuity policy, standards, plans, processes and arrangements.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Intermediate/ Middle-Level Business Continuity experience, ideally in Information Security, supporting more senior Business Continuity Specialists.
  • Resilience Management Model (RMM) experience is preferable.
  • Experience with Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) delivering Continuity communications/training for Information security and cybersecurity technologies.
  • 1-2 years of technical writing experience.
  • US Citizenship status and Active DoD Secret Clearance (preferred), must successfully complete the government's security process (required).
