    NikSoft is currently conducting a search for professional and experienced IT Acquisition Specialists to join our team as we expand our program and base of operations in Montgomery, Alabama. Working with Subject Matter Experts in Life Cycle Management, we will be at the forefront of next generation technology to provide one authoritative source of data, improved data accuracy, and reduced data duplication. Our complete services include: planning, design, test, update, documentation, implementation, development, sustainment, and fielding of advanced systems effectively optimizing technology at the National level. 


    • Assist the PM in developing documentation such as Analysis of Alternatives, Statement of Objectives, Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, developing Performance Specification, Acquisition Plan, Market research, Justification and Authorization (J&A), requirements documents, and Program Management Reviews (PMR) 
    • Update Project Management Resource Tool (PMRT), Information Technology Investment Portfolio System (ITIPS), and other designated repository for all managed systems 
    • Provide input to the PM in evaluating contract deliverables and proposal evaluations. Shall be familiar with acquisition processes and shall be familiar with different strategies to successfully implement IT capabilities 
    • Create and update Memorandums of Agreements (MOAs), Charters, and Concept of Operations (CONOPS) 
    • Create and update strategic documentation  
    • Assist the PM in identifying risk, resolve problems and verify effectiveness of corrective actions. 
    • Responsible for developing, maintaining, enhancing, and managing multiple project schedules, and Master Project Schedule if required 
    • Assists to estimate project activity timedurations, sequences, and optimizes project activities to best meet goals and objectives 
    • Develops schedules that span the entire products and/or project lifecycle from concept to product transfer 
    • Produces comprehensive schedules in various formats and levels of detail to suit different users or audience 
    • Integrates the schedule with the project budget, and analyzes the validity of schedules submitted by outside parties contributing to the project 
    • Monitors actual progress, compares it to the baseline, and reports on progress and adverse deviations. Forecasts the schedule project changes. Provide status and accounting for all COTS software requirements across all business processes 
    • Be responsible for expertise to centrally manage licensing and shall provide, as required, expertise to centrally procure each software requirement through software Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) or Enterprise License Agreements (ELAs) 
    • Software License Manager shall work with each business process team and identify strategic sourcing opportunities 
    • Provide knowledge and previous experience getting software applications certified and approved through PMRT 


    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience 
    • BA/BS or MA/MS (education may be waived with an additional 5 years’ experience)  

    **US Citizenship status and Active DoD Secret Clearance, must successfully complete the government's security process (required)**
