    NikSoft is currently conducting a search for professional and experienced Geospatial Analysts to join our team as we expand our program and base of operations in Montgomery, Alabama. Working with Subject Matter Experts in Life Cycle Management, we will be at the forefront of next generation technology to provide one authoritative source of data, improved data accuracy, and reduced data duplication. Our complete services include: planning, design, test, update, documentation, implementation, development, sustainment, and fielding of advanced systems effectively optimizing technology at the National level.


    • Planning implementations and upgrades of Esri products within an Enterprise system environment such as ArcGIS 10.x or higher, ArcSDE 10.x or higher, ArcServer 10.x or higher, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal for ArcGIS
    • Identifying training requirements and assisting in developing field training plans
    • Analyzing and tracking the impact of implemented initiatives and recommending adjustments for further improvements based on those findings
    • Implementing and utilizing Portal for ArcGIS to accomplish business processes, including analyzing existing business processes/workflows and developing strategies to migrate them into Portal for ArcGIS
    • Providing recommendations based on experience and industry-leading techniques in areas such as enterprise spatial solutions
    • Installing and testing enterprise GIS applications within development, test, and pre- production environments
    • Analyzing geospatial business processes and work flow procedures, gathering information from consultation with customer, user community, and Esri consultants
    • Analyzing and evaluating complex alternatives concerning program priorities, policies, requirements, customer requirements, and developing formal system requirements within systems associated with GIS implementations
    • Conducts GIS market research, conducts equipment demonstrations, and assists in gathering geospatial technical information such as but not limited to Air Force Common Installation picture (CIP) and Mission Data Sets (MDS)
    • Develop technical support documents to include, but not limited to: Technical Manuals, Application and/or Tool User Manuals, Training Documents, and Service Guides to be followed by field users to leverage program capabilities


    • Minimum 10 years of experience
    • MS/MA degree preferred but not required (may be waived by years of experience)
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in GIS integration using Esri software to include ArcGIS Desktop, ArcServer, and other Esri tools and extensions
    • Preferred one (1) year experience in enterprise GIS systems architecture.
    • Preferred five (5) years of demonstrated experience in developing and implementing Esri geodatabases and/or feature classes using industry standards.
    • Preferred five (5) years of demonstrated experience in geospatial-enabled web-based and/or standalone application and tool development using programming languages such as: JavaScript, HTML, FLEX, .XML, PythonScript, .NET, .VBA, and/or JSON.
    • Preferred two (2) years of experience in geospatial technical writing

    **US Citizenship status and Active DoD Secret Clearance, must successfully complete the government's security process (required).**
