    NikSoft is currently conducting a search for a professional and experienced Mobile Threat Defense to add to its team in support of our PRIME cybersecurity program.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and carry out security measures in accordance with the organizations information security strategy in order to monitor and protect sensitive data and mobile devices from infiltration and cyber-attacks. Implement security standards and best practices and recommend security enhancements for mobile computing. 
    • Utilize mobile device management, unified endpoint management, mobile threat defense, and other systems to protect the organization’s sensitive information. 
    • Monitor mobile computer infrastructure and devices for security breaches or intrusions.
    • Assist end-users with being compliant to security policies and to remediate instances of non-compliance.
    • Develop strategies to respond to and recover from vulnerabilities, security breaches, infiltrations and cyber-attacks.
    • Develop appropriate end-user documentation and training to educate the workforce and build awareness on information security.

    Qualifications

    • BS or MS degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
    • 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, testing and deploying software applications, with focus on performance, scalability and security
    • Experience in application security, network security, secure code analysis, cryptography and system security
    • Current, hands-on experience in one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to : C/C++, Java, Objective C, Python
    • Experience in secure coding techniques and source code analysis - ability to find security vulnerabilities in code, such as buffer overflows, integer overruns, etc.
    • Good understanding of Mobile Platform Security - Android or iOS
    • Ability to work independently and lead projects - from requirements analysis of features to release, and subsequent maintenance and support of these features
    • Desired Certifications: CISSP, Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH), SFCP, GCIA, ISSEP, ISSMP, GCIH, GCFA, CSLC, CISM, CCNA, CCNP
    • Direct experience with MobileIron mobile device management software
    • Knowledge of mobile threat vectors, mobile threat detection tools, and mobile threat remediation
    • Knowledge of risk assessment methods, tools, and technologies
    • Professional experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms, applications, and users
    • Experience planning, researching, and developing security policies within a mobile computing environment
    • Ability to communicate security issues to peers and management both orally and in writingTop of Form

    **US Citizenship with US based residency for at least the past 5 years to qualify for the USPS sensitive security clearance**
