    NikSoft is currently conducting a search for professional and experienced Lead Information Assurance/Security Analyst to join our team as we expand our program and base of operations in Montgomery, Alabama. Working with Subject Matter Experts in Life Cycle Management, we will be at the forefront of next generation technology to provide one authoritative source of data, improved data accuracy, and reduced data duplication. Our complete services include: planning, design, test, update, documentation, implementation, development, sustainment, and fielding of advanced systems effectively optimizing technology at the National level.



    • Ability to perform the certification the certification and accreditation process for CE Systems Programs using either Air Force Certification and Accreditation Program (AFCAP) or Risk Management Framework (RMF)
    • Execute and complete a DIACAP to RMF migration by completing risk assessments and identify know gaps
    • Create, update, and maintain C&A plans for ATO/ATC using milestone deliveries within a specified timeline
    • Responsible for preparing briefings and communication with government agencies (e.g. DAA, CAR), Program Manager, and Program Lead Engineer regarding activities regarding Certification Packages, including annual reviews, re-certifications, and initial certifications
    • Conduct security verification and validation testing and manage oversight of network and application monitoring for CE Systems using Fortify, ESPS, App Scan, and other DoD-approved tools
    • Identify and recommend mitigation steps for threats and risks associated with a program an document vulnerabilities in the POA&M
    • Ability to perform assessment and authorization process in accordance with NIST RMFF and update necessary systems such as PMRT, eMASS, and/or XACTA
    • Maintain FISMA compliance by contributing to meetings and updating documentation as required
    • Execute vulnerability remediation and mitigation as needed through continuous monitoring
    • Work with developers on the front end of a release to identify security concerns
    • Ability to perform analysis of application code reviews and development guidance
    • Analyze new requirements, perform assessments, and identify controls affected by new changes
    • Manage the IA team resources and IA workload across the programs
    • Provide support and guidance to Journeyman team members
    • Coordinate team IA schedules to ensure programs have coverage during surge times


    • MS/MA degree preferred but not required (may be waived by years of experience)
    • 5+ years of professional development experience
    • IAM Level III CertificationCISM, CISSP, or GSLC
    • Experience with a DIACAP to RMF migration
    • Working knowledge of DISA STIGs and NSA SNAC Configuration Guides

    ** US Citizenship status is required and an active Secret Clearance; must successfully complete the government's security process (required) **
